Pickled onions with carrots and dill

Onion — to taste
Carrots — to taste
Dill — to taste
Sugar — to taste
Salt — to taste
Drinking water — to taste
Table vinegar — to taste

Cut onion into rings or half rings (depending on the size of bulbs).
Grate carrots.
Finely chop dill.

Mix everything in a bowl.

Pour in water and add table vinegar. (The more vinegar, the richer the marinade.)
Add salt and sugar.

Mix it up.
Put the bowl in a fridge.
Allow to marinate for at least two hours. (The richer the marinade, the less time it takes.)

2nd option:
Marinate only the onion.
Add carrots and dill before serving.
